Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Glowcast mobile application ("App") operated by Glowcast ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Glowcast is a nutrition-tracking app that scores meals across 8 skin-health dimensions personalized to your skin profile. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze meal descriptions and photos.

2. Not Medical Advice

Glowcast is a wellness and lifestyle tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Glow Scores and meal analyses are for informational and educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or dermatologist for medical concerns about your skin or diet. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on information from this App.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Glowcast. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Glowcast offers subscription plans that unlock full access to the App's features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
• We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.).
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the meal photos and text you submit. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the service (meal analysis, scoring, and storage). We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

7. AI-Generated Analysis

Meal analyses and Glow Scores are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate. Food identification from photos is approximate. Nutritional scoring is based on general dermatological research and should not be treated as precise scientific measurement. Results may vary.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, scoring algorithms, brand, and content, is owned by Glowcast and protected by intellectual property laws. "Glowcast", "Glow Score", and associated branding are our trademarks. You may not use them without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glowcast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated analyses will be accurate or complete.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
